Hi, I’m Misa Haneda based in Tokyo, lover of learning and making.
I participated in this program because I thought it would give me a chance to think about what organisms and life, including myself, are like.
I’m interested in relativizing the norm and the idealized image like “this is how you should be” or “this is the fascinating way to live” in today’s society, and exploring other ways of being and possibilities.
I like to learn about human history (I’m a big fan of COTEN radio that podcast on Spotify) and read science fiction novel (I like “The left hand of darkness” written by Ursula K Le Guin) to think about how human are in different environments than we do now.
I have also recently begun to create my own work (I like using TouchDesigner).
The concept of this work is to attempt to simulate a life span.
You can watch the video if you like.
(If you have any comments, I will be glad to hear them!)
