2. SCOBY: KOMBUCHA × KONBUCHA

Does KOMBUCHA(SCOBY) like KONBUCHA(japanese tea made from kelp)?

Mix black tea and kelp tea, make variations with different mixing ratios, and experiment to see if there is a difference in SCOBY growth.

[What to prepare]

• black tea bags
• SCOBY
• sugar
• pure water
• glass bottles : 11
• KONBU tea
• kettle

1. Sterilize 11 bottles with boiling water

2. Prepaer black tea

[Black tea recipe]

• purified water : 1L
• sugar : 50g
• black tea : 3 bags

3. Pour the determined amount of tea into each bottle

4. Prepare konbucha and pour into each bottle

[Konbucha recipe]

• purified water : 1L
• sugar : 50g
• konbucha granule: 20g
  ※Konbucha does not dissolve!!!

5. Pour SCOBY into each bottle

6. DONE!!!
Leave the lid slightly open to allow air to pass through.
Cover with plastic wrap to prevent contamination.
